there is something really loud going off. i d ont know what it is but my whole floor came out and was like "fire alarm?" no more obnoxioius. train driving through uhall. and its freaking close to my room. loud! the few times i dont wake up at five. yuk! what in the world is this? |

I am watching Battle Royale II. It automatically was set to Japanese with Japanese subtitles (for my convience) and my roomate is sleeping on the remote so I cant fix it. oh wells. She was watching Prisoner Of Azkaban when I came in. Well, kind of. She was asleep. Its cute :0)
I went to chinatown today for dim sum which was delish! and then i bought girlscout cookies. YUM.
and i had a grapple last night. upon research i learned they were not a product of the biotech industry, they just soak apples in grape crap.
also went to chinese new year spectaular last night. learned the real story of mulan and saw sweet ass chinese traditional stuff.
I worked a lot this weekend. It was nice actually.
not sure why im posting. i just felt the need to tell you that i am watching BRII in japanese only. awe damn whis is the part when the punk bitch gets her head blown off. yay. |

Sometimes I wish I was sad so I could cry to sad music. Maybe thats why I listen to such random crap, folk/stories, or music not in English.
BIG NEWS!!!!! Walgreens is now open till midnight... in Cary that is (its 24 in Skokie, jealous!). Do you realise how helpful this would have been the last few years of my life? oh well, embrace it now.
I'm going to Chicago today :-)
I listened to a burned cd from freshman year. so awesome. i was happy to know i was as cool as i think i am now. (i really do think i am awesome, but then i get confused when people think i am cool too)

This weekend was quite enjoyable. On Friday night I went to Art's house for a Harry Potter movie marathon. We started around 8 PM. It was the perfect athmosphere because nobody whined at all. Everyone came to see the movies and everyone just took in the night. We took breaks after the movies and sometimes got distracted inbetween (think pillow fights, tickle wars, Karaoke because Art is asian, facebook, and pizza). So we made it through all four. At 8 AM I was finally able to jump on the bus. Haha yeah. I fell asleep somewhere when Harry was in the bath to when he was in the graveyard (i woke up to cedric dying). Whoops. And Matt was fast asleep in the most awkward postion ever. Only he fell asleep seriously the moment credits started. This odd sleeping pattern kind of messed up saturday though because everyone slept all day (I was up and about by noon). Anyways, I am just uber pleased that everyone was enthusiastic.
I just ranted about something but deleted it. You'll never know. |

So last night Emy and I went to the NIU Muggle Ball. Fantastic. The Remus Lupins were playing for part of it, and the rest they had a British (appropriately) DJ. There was people in huge ball gowns, Hogwart's robes, or just HP tees. There were fat black ladies, kids with down syndrome, and horny teenagers. Everyone loves HP. We got to sip on Butterbeer (butterscotchy) and pumpkinjuice (not so pumpkiny, but delish). We met up with 3 people I know from DePaul, they talked to the Remus Lupin guy because we are probably having him play a show in Chicago in the Spring. :-) That would be much fun. There was also a silent auction where u could buy sweet HP stuff. Anyways, enjoy the pics. yay.

so i was hyper and i didn't want to go to bed so daniel and i decided to go for a walk. theres this bridge with a sweet skyline view. i love it! you cant see the stars here but we have buildings! but crazily enough we could actually see some stars. it was fantastic.
we took the adventure route home and we ended up in this desolate commercial area. i mentioned that it was a major zombie attack moment. Suddenly there was this creepy screachy clangy noise. It turned out to be one of those signs that has the strippy look to them cuz they can rotate and show 3 different ads. There was also an evil dead style house. That was followed by a trees raping women conversation...
so yeah. time to sleep. i just love the city a lot. and this weather. that is all. |

Fortunately for women in christian cultures who are not afraid to attack private parts in this day and age the new testament teaches not to retailiate. (I would think this fits around Matthew 5:38-39)
but still, this catch amuses me.
and another reason why i think its zany some people take the bible so literally. because you cant. you end up picking and chosing. |
